Improved User Experience

The existing website, although rich in content, had become increasingly difficult to navigate, and both its visual design and functionality no longer met modern industry standards. Based on an analysis of the current state, we therefore decided on a thorough redesign and created an entirely new platform that is faster, more user-friendly, and visually more appealing. We refreshed all content sections, refined and restructured them, and optimized everything to deliver a better user experience for all visitors, across all devices.

Faster and Easier Path to Information

The content is thoughtfully structured and easy to navigate. The main navigation is clearly highlighted, with the option to open subpages for access to more detailed information. This allows users to quickly orient themselves and reach the content they need. Visitors can now immediately learn everything about the Faculty of Law, its rich history, and the benefits of enrollment, easily find all necessary information about study programs, and follow current news. Additionally, they can explore numerous extracurricular activities, research projects, and professional publications. Navigating the site is simple and intuitive.

Visually Appealing and Up-to-Date

The website’s design effectively communicates the values of the Faculty of Law – tradition, expertise, and modernity. The site visually combines classic elements with contemporary design approaches, creating a professional yet accessible impression. The color scheme is minimalist, dominated by white, gray, and dark blue, with accents in red, yellow, and blue. The typography is clean and highly readable across all devices. A modern touch is added through photographs by renowned photographer Primož Korošec, who skillfully captured the everyday life and bustle of the faculty. All site elements are responsive, adapting to screen size to ensure easy navigation and reading regardless of the device used.

Updated Scales as an Established Symbol of Justice

By following the rules and the system of symbols for all member faculties of the University of Ljubljana, we created a logo derived from the University’s main emblem – the Provincial Palace. It borrows graphic elements from this emblem, which, with some modifications, form the framework for a new, modernized symbol of the refined scales of justice. The new visual identity of the Faculty of Law was designed for use across print materials, presentations, and digital environments.

Editor-Friendly Content Management System

For content management, we used the open-source Silverstripe system, which, with its simple and flexible interface, allows editors to easily manage complex websites. The content is also easily accessible to visitors with special needs. It is available in both Slovenian and English.
